Allene Hackleman became ESO Principal Horn in 2005, and quickly established herself in the community. For this concert, she is joined by her father Martin, formerly a member of the Canadian Brass, Principal Horn for the Vancouver Symphony, and currently with the National Symphony in Washington. Virtuoso works for horn solo and duet are featured, along with Haydn's final symphony, dedicated to the city that held him in the highest regard, even into his twilight years.
Wickets will open at least 1 hour prior to performances and remain open until 30 minutes after the performance begins.
